September is here; let’s draw some apples!
September 2026 Title Page

I chose an apple tree this month, since I have spent many hours picking up apples from my garden, in an attempt to save them from being devoured by nature alone.
September 2026 Calendar Page

I used to only use one or two colours for each month, and I guess at some point it started feeling flat, even uninspiring, so I’ve been making an effort to experiment a bit more with colours each month.
September 2026 Habit Tracker / Mood Tracker

I think this apple tree mood tracker might be one of my favourites from this year; it took awhile to draw, and I ended up with one too many (which I rectified by shading it instead), but it feels the most satisfying to actually fill with colours of my moods. So it motivates me to track more!
September 2026 Finance Tracker / Exercise Tracker

Between the calendar and the monthly spread, I think one of my red pens actually got switched, but I think it might have worked out for the better; maybe that more vibrant red would become overpowering and hide any words I try to write.
September 2026 Daily Routine / Weekly Schedule

I’m still testing out ideas for my Daily Routine page; it takes me a few different variations to find something solid to work with when I add new pages, and the same goes for my weekly schedule. Both of these pages are still fairly new to my spread, so don’t hold to high expectations for them yet!
September 2026 Daily Notes / Self-Care Bingo

This month I added even more new pages to experiment with – one being unfinished here. The daily notes feels a bit harder to keep up with, but maybe that should be the point..? My objective is to write one good thing about every day at the end of each day (or at least, as often as I can remember). The Self-care bingo page, however, is a bit less ambitious in practice, but more so to draw out. Picking enough things to fill all the boxes has been the first challenge, but I’m assuming once I get through a couple of months, I’ll come up with new additions! ( Feel free to leave any suggestions^^)
September 2026 Writing Log / Brain Dump

The writing log and brain dump pages are the easiest to draw. The writing log is another fairly new addition in this year’s mix, and it’s one I’ve not yet made much use of, which means it’s another one I need to experiment with. I like to try and keep the brain dump page simple these days, so that it’s just a page to jot any ideas on whenever they appear; it doesn’t need to be anything else.
September 2026 Weekly Spread

My weekly spread may be as useful as it can be to me at the moment, so I have no intention of messing with it until I get once again stuck in a slump. You know the saying, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’.
You may have noticed a few new additions lurking on my website too. I’m in the middle of (again) experimenting; since I’m a one-woman band with far too many ambitions, I get stuck shifting between different projects, leaving some neglected. One of these things, though, is downloadable templates for your very own Bullet Journal! I’m designing mine for the dots and pages to roughly match the Scribbles That Matter dotted journals (The main ones I have been using for several years now – the quality of them, I find, is very worth the price!). I plan to make individual ones available to buy as well as packs. If I can complete any of my ambitious projects, I would like to have one available to cover the entirety of next year (but that might be too ambitious).
I hope you guys will stick around to see what I can come up with! And thanks so much for all the support so far^^
One of these days I’ll have structure, I promise!
