Bullet Journaling

How are you creative?

I like to think that Im creative in many ways. Anyone familiar with me or my blog will know how I enjoy different forms of journaling, Bullet Journaling especially. I’m also a fan of scrapbooking, although I rarely find the time to pursue it, Im hoping life might slow down a bit once I finish my Uni course so I can fit other interests back into my schedule.

When it comes to different forms of art I personally prefer coloured pencils or watercolour pencils, but that’s only because that’s what Im most confident with. I like water colour pens, but Im still getting to grips with them and paints; I use a bit of watercolour and acrylic paint, but again, not so much or a strength of mine. I have pastels, but I dont even know where to begin there. Digital art, however, I can’t seem to get behind at all. It’s all a bit too complicated for me, I need to have my apparatuses all around me.

Another creative outlet I enjoy is clay, which is something I’ve only recently taken up and so far have only made a few small figures like a mini pikachu and a sheep and Im still working on a Korok from Zelda!

Music. Music is what I thought would be my main direction after focusing on it in school and college and continuing to for awhile afterwards. Ive played in bands, written and helped write music, also done some voice acting and general voice-over work, but nothing much as of recent.

My main course now is writing, but that’s also due to it being my focus in Uni with my English Lit and Creative Writing course. Writing is where I began, i wrote a lot as a child and almost went to publish a childrens book when I was 11 but decided against it. I won lots of school writing competitions involving writing stories, fiction and non-fiction, and newspaper articles, I gained some cool experiences from winning those! (I got to visit a mini NASA thing with a few students from various schools once)

I feel like I’ve probably missed out on some of my creative outlets, but I suppose that will do for now.
